We arrived at Buenos Aires EZE airport on the 9th October!
I will post here our impressions of the city, as well as some things we learned.
For instance, on the airport terminal we could not withdraw money from any cash machine! According to the lady from Bank of Argentina "These machines do not recognize cards with chip".
Luckily, we had brought some €€ with us and exchanged them for argentine pesos. - Lesson confirmed: always bring cash with you!
In B.s. A.s. (Buenos Aires) we stayed at an airbnb place, which was great, as it allowed us to have our own place with balcony, kitchen and bathroom (and enjoy mate! - click for more information)

B.s A.s is divided in different neirboughhoods, our place was near Palermo.
In each of them you could see the social differences, for example on the first day we went to La Boca. Directly when descending the bus some locals advised us not to leave the "El Caminito" area, as the area around is dangerous for tourists!

I found this area quite phony, as this is a very colored street, full of artists trying to sell their view of B.s A.s and souvenirs. However, you can see that it is a cover up of poor areas where the locals are living, as in picture below.
We then followed to San Telmo, a richer area which is now hype with the youngsters. We payed a very special visit to a friend!
I always liked and agreed with Mafalda- except in the "I hate soup" part, but we agree to disagree! It was also great "seeing" Gui!
This part of town was where the wealthiest used to live, up to the beginning of the XXth century, when the yellow fever sent them to the north area of the city (Recoleta).
The mansions were then converted to "Conventillo", where different immigrant families shared the same place.
Nowadays it is very bohemian and it is in recovery.
